Book Clubs
The Ink Drinkers offers three different book clubs for you to choose from. Feel free to join one, two or all three! It’s entirely up to you. More information about each is found down below. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and contact us.
General Fiction
This is the original club that started back in 2023. We read literally anything fiction from the classics, to gothic/horror, to contemporary literature. We meet on the last Wednesday and Saturday of every month at 5pm. You can pick whichever day works better for you! Same book, different day.
There is no registration required, and other than the cost of the book if you need one, it’s free to join!
PLEASE NOTE!!! While there is no registration required, the Saturday group fills up quickly. Please arrive on time to secure a spot as space is not guaranteed.

Horror Edition
What would life be without a little bit of fear? Whether you’re already a die hard horror fan, or you’re curious and don’t where to start, we’d love to have you join us (not in a weird, cult-y way). We read the classics, as well as newer horror. There is no registration required, and it’s free to join!
Next meetings:
Benighted by J.B. Priestly
March 21st at 5pm
April: The horror edition will be taking April off. See you in May!
The Witch and the Priest by Hilda Lewis
May (TBD)
Where: Pile of Books, Zurich
Big Book Reading Group
This book club tackles the Big Ones: books that are 500 pages or longer (the longer the better). They can be a bit intimidating, so we break them up and take our time, usually over 2-3 months. Because this is a small group, spots are limited. If you are interested in joining, please send an email to Bryanna or DM the shop on Instagram to secure your spot.
Next open meeting: The next available group is for Henry James’ Portrait of a Lady, Parts 1&2. If you’re interested, click here to sign up!
