Giving Books a New Home

This bookclub works a little differently. It involves the acts of giving and receiving.
We will meet at different locations around Zurich. Sometimes it will be a cozy pub, or a cafe, and sometimes we’ll meet at Pile of Books.
There is no required reading beforehand. It is simply a gift exchange, followed by a conversation about books, reading, and whatever else comes up.

How it works
This is a bookclub centred around the exchange of gifts.
Find a book you already own that you feel could use a new home. This could be an old, a new book you’ve just finished, a book you loved or one you weren’t sure about.
Once you pick your book, write a short, simple message either in the book or on a piece of paper, about why you chose this book.
Wrap it.
You will then exchange gifts with one another. After you open them, you can let the conversation go where it may.
