What this is:
Back in 2024, the New York Times put together a list of the Top 100 Best Books of the 21st Century. There are a lot of great titles on there, but there is so much missing.

So the Ink Drinkers Book Club is putting together our own Top 20 Best Books of the 21st Century.

We’re asking you, the reader, to help put this list together. At the very, once we’ve made the list, the Number 1 book will be our book club pick for the month of October.

Here’s how to participate:
- Send in your Top 3 titles to the email info@pileofbooks.ch with the subject line Top 3 Books 21st Century.
- The only criteria is that they have to have been published from January 1st 2000 until now and they must be in English.
- This means that the book could be older, but if it was published in Englishin the given time period, it counts!!!
- You have from April 15th until May 15th to send in your answers.
- You do NOT have to be a regular part of any book clubs, or even have come at all. Anyone can participate.
- You can also pick a book from the NYT list already, but of course feel free to pick something completely different! Does not need to be a bestseller, Pulitzer Prize winner, or anything.

After the deadline, we will tally up any books that have multiple votes and rank accordingly. Otherwise, in order to fill up the list, we will simply pick from a raffle.

Whichever book gets No.1 will be our book club pick for October. If we’ve already read it, we will move onto No. 2, etc… We will also make a display at the shop so everyone can browse the Top 20 picks.
